Application Process
Our goal is to breed healthy, loving puppies. And to achieve this, we make sure we go the extra mile to select the best homes available for our puppies. For us, it’s not just about the money. It is very important that potential new owners have the knowledge, ability, facilities, time, and resources to provide an exceptional home for each pup.
To assist us in choosing suitable buyers for our pups, we ask that you fill in the following placement questionnaire form. Completion of this form is mandatory to begin the screening process. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in providing this information to us. We hope you understand that we have the best interests of both our puppies and potential buyers at heart in requesting it. It will give us a clear picture of exactly what you’re looking for and assist in selecting a puppy that best fits your family.
Please note that filling in the form does not place you on a “waiting list.” This is just a tool we use to evaluate potential families for our puppies. Once the form is submitted, we will review your response and process your application. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
Once your family is chosen, you may submit the Puppy Contract and Purchase Agreement to proceed with your reservation. A $500 deposit will be required to hold your puppy. Puppies are reserved on a first-deposit-received basis. Deposits can be paid via money order, Chase Zelle, PayPal, or in cash. Should a suitable puppy not be available from the litter, deposits will be honored on future litter(s) or refunded. Deposits are non-refundable if we have suitable puppies. Depending on availability and planned breeding, we might have a waiting period of up to one year or greater for a replacement puppy.
The puppy must be paid in full before you can take possession. The puppy may be picked up after 10 weeks of age but before 12 weeks, or the buyer will be charged a $25/week boarding fee in addition to any routine or emergency expenses the puppy may require until the time of pickup.
The use of pet flight nanny services are an option to get your puppy flown out to you, as we do not send puppies alone through airline cargo. Separate fees for flight nanny services will be added and the amount will be determined by the specific service company used. Meet-ups for picking up your puppy are also available. Windy Valley Frenchies can arrange them at the buyer’s request. The AKC temporary puppy limited registration papers will be provided to the buyer once we have received the Vet Check form filled out by a vet and the confirmation of spay/neuter.
